Our NZ Māori Tattoo Badge 6pc are designed to be placed onto the arm (badge tattoo).
Contains six tattoos (three designs, two of each in each pack).
Kirituhi means to draw or decorate the skin. It is the word that is used for Māori style tattoo done for non-Māori wearers or without following the proper tikanga/protocols.
Traditional Māori tattoos, Ta Moko, are created specific to the wearer and performed under traditional protocols. They are a sign of mana or prestige.
These contemporty designs were created to be worn by those partaking in kapa haka to be able to wear and celebrate Māori culture in a respectful way. They make getting ready for kapa haka events fast and easy.

These unique designs were created by New Zealand Māori moko, kirituhi and tattoo artist Twigs.
Twigs specialises in Māori, traditional and Japanese tattoos.
He is a decendent of Ngā Puhi.
